Severe shortage of wheat flour in the country

The All Ceylon Bakeries Association alarmed that there is a severe shortage of wheat flour in the country.

President of the All Ceylon Bakeries Association, N.K. Mr. Jayawardena said that as a result, the bakery industry has become unable to continue their business.  

He also highlighted on top of the dearth of wheat flour, prices of bakery ingredients also alarmingly going up which has worsened the situation further.

He made these observation in a media briefing organized by the All Ceylon Bakeries Association
